It is with great sadness that we have received word of the recent passing of the Eminent Scholar and Man of Allah, Sidi Shaykh Talib Abd al-Rahman al-Hasany al-Jaza’iry. He was a distinguished Muhaddith, Faqeeh, and Murabbi, who spent his entire life with ‘ilm and in the service of the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah SWT , deeply concerned for the Ummah and calling to the way of Allah. We extend our deepest condolonces to the Shaykh’s family, to the people of Algeria, and to the Ummah at large for their tremendous loss. And we keep them all in our prayers.

Tonight, the Zawiya Sulukiya Institute will hold a gathering of Salat al-Janaza al-Gha’ib and of seeking mercy through the recitation of the Quran. Our dear Shaykh Abu Mouaiz will also give a word regarding the life and many virtues and services of Shaykh Sidi Talib al-Hasany, rahimahu Allah.
