و صلى الله على

سيدنا ونبينا وحبيبنا وشفيعنا محمد

وآله وصحبه وسلم تسليما كثيرا

‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin Al-‘As (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: “Whoever prays upon me once, Allah will pray upon him ten times.”

[Narrated by Muslim]

Shaykh Ibn Ata’illah said in his book ‘Taj al-‘Arus’:

‘Whoever has missed out on much (suprerogatory) fasting and praying, then let him busy himself with prayer on the Messenger of Allah Mohamed_peace_be_upon_him; for truly if you were to spend your entire life in every type of worship, and Allah prays once on you, that prayer from Him would overcome all the worship that you had done in your life; because you pray as far as your ability, whereas He prays according to His Lordship and Generosity.’

The Zawiya Sulukiya Institute hosts a weekly Circle of prayer on the Prophet Mohamed_peace_be_upon_him (Majlis Salawat) each Friday afternoon after ‘asr. More circles are set to be open around Melbourne.
