Each year, the Zawiya Sulukiya Institute has organised special Ramadan circles. In past years, a number of books have been studied, including Minhaj al-Qasidin by Ibn Qudama al-Maqdisi (a summary of Imam al-Ghazali’s Ihya), al-Fath al-Rabbani by Abdul Qadir Jaylani, and other books.
This year, our dear Shaykh Abu Mouiz, may Allah preserve him, has chosen for us the book Awarif al-Ma’arif by Imam Shihab al-Deen Abu Hafs Umar al-Suhrawardi, one of the greatest books in the science of Tasawwuf and the knowledge of spiritual purification.
Join us for a thematic reading and explanation of this tremendous book each night after tarawih prayers at the Fatih Mosque (31 Nicholson Street, Coburg, Victoria).
Unfortunately this particular circle is only available for brothers due to lack of available space.
